Exhaust gas treatment | DPF+SCR for exhaust gas treatment of backup power generating units of data center

During the operation of diesel generator set, a lot of harmful exhaust gas will be produced, which will seriously pollute the environment and affect people’s health if not treated effectively. With the enhancement of environmental awareness and the introduction of national environmental protection policies, the comprehensive treatment of exhaust gas of diesel generator sets has become an important issue in the generator industry.

Diesel generator exhaust mainly contains harmful substances, such as sulfur dioxide SO₂, carbon monoxide CO, hydrocarbon HC, particulate matter PM and nitrogen oxides NOx, which pose a threat to the environment and human health. In order to reduce the emission of these harmful substances, a series of tail gas treatment technologies have been adopted to remove PM by using physical filtration, and burn the captured carbon particles through the catalytic converter to reduce particulate matter emissions. By coating vanadium base or molecular sieve reduction catalyst, NOx is reduced to N₂ and H₂O under the action of a certain temperature and reactor and under the condition of spraying urea solution.

In practical application, several projects have adopted the above integrated treatment technology. By using metal DPF+SCR technology, the pollution of waste gas to the environment is effectively reduced. The comprehensive treatment of exhaust gas of diesel generator sets is a complex process involving a variety of technologies and strict environmental standards, which is essential to protect the environment and human health. With the continuous progress of technology and the strengthening of environmental protection policies, the future of exhaust gas treatment will be more efficient and environmentally friendly.
