Green Valley Environmental Protection: Diesel oxidation catalyst to provide power for green transportation

DOC is usually installed in the exhaust system of diesel engines as the first line of defense to reduce harmful emissions. Diesel oxidation catalyst, or DOC, is a device used in the aftertreatment of diesel engine exhaust gas, which converts carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC), and some particulate matter (PM) into harmless carbon dioxide (CO₂) and water (H ₂O) through oxidation reactions.

DOC is usually required in the following situations:

1, according to the emission requirements of different countries and regions, there are strict automobile and non-road machinery emission regulations, requiring diesel engines must be equipped with effective emission control devices, as well as reduce CO, HC and PM emissions.

2, DOC can reduce the content of CO and HC in the exhaust gas, better assist the particle catcher DPF or selective catalytic reduction SCR system, provide cleaner air intake, thereby improving the overall exhaust gas treatment efficiency.

3. By reducing emissions of harmful gases, DOC helps to improve air quality and reduce negative environmental and public health impacts.

4, the use of DOC can extend the life of DPF and SCR system, DOC can reduce particulate matter and harmful gases on DPF and SCR denitration system pollution, extend the service life of these equipment.

5, in some cases, the use of DOC can improve the combustion efficiency and performance of the engine.

The diesel engine black smoke purification provided by Green Valley Environmental Protection can be combined with the actual situation of the project and used with DOC. Through advanced oxidation catalytic converters, black smoke emissions are effectively reduced, environmental regulations are met, and customers are provided with customized solutions to meet more stringent air quality requirements.
